Early retirement at 56: The Government adds 11 new diseases without pension cuts

El Consejo de Ministros ha aprobado la ampliación del catálogo de enfermedades que permiten acceder a la jubilación anticipada desde los 56 años sin aplicación de coeficientes reductores en la pensión. La nueva normativa incorpora 11 patologías adicionales al listado existente, beneficiando así a aproximadamente 50.000 trabajadores con un grado de discapacidad igual o superior al 45% según las estimaciones del Ejecutivo. Esta modalidad de jubilación se distingue de otras fórmulas de retiro anticipado por mantener íntegra la cuantía de la prestación. La entrada en vigor de esta modificación normativa se producirá al día siguiente de su publicación en el Boletín Oficial del Estado (BOE), prevista para las próximas horas.
The Council of Ministers has approved the expansion of the list of illnesses that allow access to early retirement from age 56 without any reduction in pension benefits. The new regulations add 11 conditions to the existing list, thus benefiting approximately 50,000 workers with a disability rating of 45% or higher, according to government estimates. This type of retirement differs from other early retirement options by maintaining the full pension amount. This regulatory change will come into effect the day after its publication in the Official State Gazette (BOE), which is expected within the next few hours.
