Un team del CSIC, insieme alla spin-off Nanostine e con il sostegno dell'Agenzia Spaziale Europea, ha progettato un rivestimento di nanoparticelle d'oro e argento capace di bloccare l'effetto multipactor, che può rendere inutili i sistemi di comunicazione dei satelliti.
A team from CSIC, together with the spin-off Nanostine and with the support of the European Space Agency, has designed a coating of gold and silver nanoparticles capable of blocking the multipactor effect, which can render satellite communication systems useless.
